Toasters poster tshirt.

My poster design for The Toasters is to be printed on tshirts for their European Tour this year. I had no idea they were going to do this too, so it was a nice surprise. Go see them and pick one up if you are in Europe at the time! You won’t be sorry!

Sold Out.

At the end of last week, the print edition sold out. Thank you to everyone who bought a copy. There won’t be any additional editions printed. I am going to spend the extra time focusing on the next volume instead. But don’t you worry, you can still buy the eBook and view it all the same digitally instead.

Expect an announcement about Volume 2 in the coming weeks.

Thursday.

This Thursday on the 9th, the print edition will officially be released. For all you people that use US Dollars you can buy a copy at my Big Cartel store. And for any fellow Brits, or just those who prefer to deal with Pounds/GBP, I have opened up a store on Etsy, where the print book and a few posters are now available. All available in my currency of Great British Pounds.

‘The Wall’ got printed.

I recently stumbled upon a place that can print The Wall: Modern Day Music Posters, cheaply without having to go into the thousands of books for it to be a reasonable price per book.

I had to rework the eBook to get it to be print-ready. The content is pretty much the same, I wanted it to be as much like the eBook as possible. But it does have to be slightly different as things are a lot different on paper than they are on screen. But if you buy the print edition you get the eBook bundled in with it, so you get the best of both worlds.

I am only doing a very limited run of these for now. I may do more later, but for now I am thinking of just doing this one time edition and then that is it with ‘Modern Day Music Posters’, and just concentrate on the next one.

To buy, visit the website or my webstore. It is going to be on pre-order for $19.95, for the next week until February 9th.

Spring Toast.

A new poster design for The Toasters. And if I counted right (feel free to correct me if I am wrong) they are touring for a full 44 days straight! No days off! One straight after the other! You need to go and see them, just to see how tired they will look.

You can buy a print of this poster in my webstore for $9.95 + shipping.

GMZ Article.

Last month, I got the honour of being asked to write an article for Go Media Zine. Of course, it needed to be about music posters so it was just a case of what. We decided to do a round-up of the 100 best music posters around now. But I won’t say much more on the matter as the article pretty much says it all anyway. Go take a read and a look at all those magnificent posters.

Volume One.

The Wall: MDMP is now half price as a Christmas Special that will last until further notice. This comes with the announcement of a second volume in the works for 2012. There will be more details on that coming in the next few months, but for now you can still get volume one, Modern Day Music Posters, for $9.95! And you can download the teaser chapter by clicking here

My book, The Wall: Modern Day Music Posters eBook is now available online to buy!

The book features 91 of the worlds best music poster designers and artists around today. With a focus on the last three to four years particularly, the posters are separated into nine chapters to form some sort of order in a very mixed industry. But to make this anthology unique, the posters in the book all are accompanied by a small blurb or quote by the artists that created them. This is to help paint more of a picture into the world of modern day music posters.

The nine chapters that it is separated into are: Illustration, Photography, Screenprint, Pattern, Textured, Typography, Retro, Simple, and Series.

With the majority in the book being American, but with some appearing from: Canada, Germany, New Zealand, Ireland, Brazil, Singapore, Switzerland, and a few from here in the UK.
