Sold Out.
At the end of last week, the print edition sold out. Thank you to everyone who bought a copy. There won’t be any additional editions printed. I am going to spend the extra time focusing on the next volume instead. But don’t you worry, you can still buy the eBook and view it all the same digitally instead.
Expect an announcement about Volume 2 in the coming weeks.

Etsy + More.
I have caved and got myself an Etsy account (this is the formal announcement). It is surprisingly better than I thought it would be. I haven’t deleted my Big Cartel account. I still enjoy the way I can make it more my own on there, but it would be foolish to ignore Etsy anymore. And since I now operate in two currencies it makes sense to have two stores.

EuroToast 2012.
The Toasters are back in Europe yet again this year. They never stop touring, bringing their blend of Ska all across the globe!
Tour dates are yet to be confirmed and will be added to the poster at a later date. You can buy a print of the poster as it is now in my store for only $9.95! And when the dates are added, I will also make that available.

Thursday.
This Thursday on the 9th, the print edition will officially be released. For all you people that use US Dollars you can buy a copy at my Big Cartel store. And for any fellow Brits, or just those who prefer to deal with Pounds/GBP, I have opened up a store on Etsy, where the print book and a few posters are now available. All available in my currency of Great British Pounds.

‘The Wall’ got printed.
I recently stumbled upon a place that can print The Wall: Modern Day Music Posters, cheaply without having to go into the thousands of books for it to be a reasonable price per book.
I had to rework the eBook to get it to be print-ready. The content is pretty much the same, I wanted it to be as much like the eBook as possible. But it does have to be...

Spring Toast.
A new poster design for The Toasters. And if I counted right (feel free to correct me if I am wrong) they are touring for a full 44 days straight! No days off! One straight after the other! You need to go and see them, just to see how tired they will look.
You can buy a print of this poster in my webstore for $9.95 + shipping.

Get Awesome.
Time for updates! The design I made for Tommi Infamous back in June 2009, and turned out to be quite popular on Tumblr last year, is now available on stickers and pint glasses! It has it’s own website and webstore, so while you are there go pick up a tshirt along with the other items.

Orange/Reel Big Fish tour poster.
This is a tour poster exclusively for Orange fans as they tour across the UK and Europe this Spring. We kept the art direction very similar to their recently released EP, Dead Sexy. These will be sold on the tour, and even maybe online afterwards. I’ll keep you posted.
You can buy a print of this on my webstore, $9.95 + shipping

GMZ Article.
Last month, I got the honour of being asked to write an article for Go Media Zine. Of course, it needed to be about music posters so it was just a case of what. We decided to do a round-up of the 100 best music posters around now. But I won’t say much more on the matter as the article pretty much says it all anyway. Go take a read and a look at all those magnificent...

The Wall: MDMP is now half price as a Christmas Special that will last until further notice. This comes with the announcement of a second volume in the works for 2012. There will be more details on that coming in the next few months, but for now you can still get volume one, Modern Day Music Posters, for $9.95! And you can download the teaser chapter by clicking here.

Society6.
I have recently uploaded some of my past (and new) designs to Society6. I wanted to restock and get more tshirts in, but with everything else going on at the minute I just don’t have the time. So I decided to give this a try. The profit margins on this are crazy slim but it gets my work out there and gives you nice people something to buy while I try to get my ass in order and...

Westbound Train poster.
While working on a few other things for the guys, I got the chance to do the tour poster for a few Westbound Train shows in the new year. This one is a bit different to my past work for them, but I think it highlights my progression more than anything as a designer. I love the font I used for the band name, I have earmarked that for another project that you may get to...

4.
Four years ago today, I won a poster competition for Westbound Train, which signalled the start of my efforts with BadTown.co.uk. Said poster is featured above. I was hoping to bring something more exciting and maybe a give-away or two for this anniversary but I have decided to wait another year and make the five year birthday even more special.
I have however updated my website. It...

The Pepper Pots - Where the heart is…
I recently did some tshirt designs for The Pepper Pots. The only thing they asked me is to make it Soul and ’60s. It also wasn’t allowed to be specifically about the band. Just something nice and simple. Expect it to be at their shows in the near future! Go to their shows, The Pepper Pots are worth it!
To be printed on blue and/or red.

Big Cheese magazine ad.
This item is in the latest copy of Big Cheese magazine. It was made as an advertisement for Orange, their upcoming EP and their upcoming tour with, Bowling For Soup. But it is now also the tour poster apparently!
The Illustrations are by I don’t know who, but the design/layout is by me.

Business Cards.
I have new business cards. I have decided to not really stick to one colour scheme. As these business cards, mini logo, website, webstore will show. I have many reasons, but they are all obvious and I won’t waste my time telling you them. It would demean us both. So we shall leave it at that.

New Logo.
For the last two years or so I’ve stuck it out with the (now) old logo. Which I liked but also disliked equally. But for a long time I’ve been wanting to change it up and do something a little new. So after finishing up my book and having (in my opinion) a well deserved break, I slowly got to work on some ideas and concepts for my new look. But it is actually inspired from an idea...

My book, The Wall: Modern Day Music Posters eBook is now available online to buy!
The book features 91 of the worlds best music poster designers and artists around today. With a focus on the last three to four years particularly, the posters are separated into nine chapters to form some sort of order in a very mixed industry. But to make this anthology unique, the posters in the book all are...

The Toasters Mini-Summer June US Tour 2011 poster.
The Toasters are rocking out all year with their 30th celebrations. Their latest shows have them doing a mini tour in the US in June. Go check them out if you are in the area. And yes, to them an 11 day tour with no breaks is mini.
A design book I am working on. More to follow in the coming weeks.

Orange is coming back to the UK again this summer with a string of dates with the UK based New Riot co-headlining the tour. Everything on this was made by me other than the top crown image. I do not currently know who designed that.

The Toasters 30th Anniversary Logo.
Next year (2011) will mark the 30th anniversary of The Toasters and they asked me to do a special redesign of their logo for it. It will appear on tshirts, posters, banners, buttons/badges, etc. And no doubt in many different countries on the endless tours that they thankfully do!
In The Toasters webstore you can already pick up this design as a...

Tuxedo Swing posters.
Recently I did some poster designs for Tuxedo Swing, a Loughborough University Swing band. The one above is the second poster out of three. They have already started to be displayed in and around the university as well as at events. They will also be used in the future to promote the band. The other two designs are available to see in my Facebook group.

Also, above (and on the Facebook page) I am using my “mini” logo. As my full logo is too long for somethings I can easily put this “mini” logo in and fits wonderfully!

The Toasters tour poster 2010.
This is another Toasters poster I have recently designed for their upcoming tour across North America. This is the first design for them I have done without the checkered pattern, but I feel I have made up for it with the black and white text for the dates instead.

I have created a new design for my website since I got bored of the old design quickly but had to put up with it for about 8 months or so. I managed to do this one in about 3 hours of mostly daydreaming. Check it out.

NONAME tour poster.
This is the poster I designed for NONAME’s UK tour in support of their new album (also designed by me) entitled, That Is What We Believe. The release date is WAY off but I never got told the exact date for that and never told me, but were happy to leave that on there… I will probably post about it when it gets released.
