New Website/Logo Design.

I decided I really needed a new website design. There was just something about my old design that just wasn’t quite right, so I made a new one. It also comes with a “re-branding” of myself. The old way seemed rushed and not thought out, although the new way is less consistent. Which for me is a good thing, I can experiment and not feel like I have to stick to one way or style. I can keep working on it and grow until I do something I really like and maybe stick with that. Anyway, take a look and see what you think.

Walk With Me.

The Skatalites new album is out today! Unless you are outside the UK, then it is next week, May 22nd. I’d like to think that I managed to give the traditional Jamaican Ska band a newer, modern look while still keeping them close to their roots. Go see them, go buy the album, go enjoy!

Higher Guns.

Last week I finally got my hands on the CD version of Higher Guns by The Void Union, an album I designed the cover for last year. Check out these additional photos, but you will have buy the actual album to see the rest!

Void Union mini tour.

The Void Union are heading out on some shows in June. I also hear they are working on some new music too! Here is a “new” flyer made to highlight their mini tour coming up. Go check them out!

The Skatalites - Walk With Me.

I recently got the job of designing the album art for the new Skatalites record. And when I say recently, I mean very recently! This one was originally meant to be a quick turnaround! But after weeks of delays with tracks and other such problems, it finally got finished.

It is to be first sold during their UK tour coming up early this summer. More details to come later.

Toasters poster tshirt.

My poster design for The Toasters is to be printed on tshirts for their European Tour this year. I had no idea they were going to do this too, so it was a nice surprise. Go see them and pick one up if you are in Europe at the time! You won’t be sorry!

Sosski.

I recently got the pleasure of having to do a logo design (and the above “poster”) for an Illustrator and a very good friend of mine, Sarah Wilds. At the minute she has only a Facebook page online, but I have word that a website will follow. Keep looking out for more from Sosski Illustrations

Sold Out.

At the end of last week, the print edition sold out. Thank you to everyone who bought a copy. There won’t be any additional editions printed. I am going to spend the extra time focusing on the next volume instead. But don’t you worry, you can still buy the eBook and view it all the same digitally instead.

Expect an announcement about Volume 2 in the coming weeks.

Etsy + More.

I have caved and got myself an Etsy account (this is the formal announcement). It is surprisingly better than I thought it would be. I haven’t deleted my Big Cartel account. I still enjoy the way I can make it more my own on there, but it would be foolish to ignore Etsy anymore. And since I now operate in two currencies it makes sense to have two stores.

New Blog.

If you are reading this now I hope you have noticed I have got myself a new slick blog theme. While the previous one served me well and we had many good months together, we have parted ways as friends. But little does it know I have found myself a new, better looking theme to edit and share my posts with. But I guess now we have gone public it is only a matter of time before it finds out. So previous blog theme, whatever your name was, I will always treasure the time we spent together. (Too much?)
